The founder of Artshine, Paul Field, is an artist and entrepreneur whose background in social work gave him first-hand experience with the positive work of art education in the life of a youth. Artshine programs use themes kids are familiar with, taught by instructors who guide them while allowing students to explore their creativity.
Summer Camp
Ahoy, matey! Summer camp at Artshine is August 12 – 16, 2024, at the Universalist Unitarian Church in Halifax. It’s time to meet pirates, sit under palm trees, and visit the ocean creatures because the theme is Ocean Adventures! This summer camp includes clay building, painting, drawing and many other activities, including creating using STEM activities, too! Each day will also include outdoor play, weather permitting. Camp runs from 9 am – 4 pm and is open to children from JK to grade 6.
