Stroll Granville Island’s holiday light display. From the famous public market to the Granville Island Hotel, lights across the almost 40-acre site make for a beautiful open air stroll whether you are under the stars, or under an umbrella.
‘A Beacon of Light’ adds colour and light to the Courtyard of the Public Market. This 12-pointed, 22-foot-tall illuminated star shines bright enough to be spotted from the West End. Alongside this is the 14-foot-tall ‘Alder Bay Star’ which dazzles as it hangs off Granville Island’s furthest point of land, and a canopy of lights that connects Johnston Street to Railspur Alley. Enjoy a fun and festive atmosphere that can be safely enjoyed by individuals, families, and small bubble groups of friends.
