This Fall, it’s time to hop in the saddle and fulfill a dream! Rosewood Hunters & Jumpers offers professional riding lessons for all ages and experience levels out of their idyllic location in Southlands, nestled amid sprawling estates and stables. It is the perfect place for horse lovers to learn to care for and ride a horse without ever leaving the city! The facility is only minutes from downtown and accessible by public transit, bike, and car, making it the perfect after-school or weekend activity.

At Rosewood Hunters & Jumpers, they offer high-quality English riding instruction designed to turn beginners into experienced riders. From your first trot to the show ring, Rosewood helps riders thrive with expert coaching and well-trained horses, ensuring that riders feel safe and supported through every lesson.

Whether you’re brand new to riding or an experienced rider, Rosewood Hunters & Jumpers offers classes for every level. Through weekly lessons, students learn horse care, riding techniques, and are matched according to age, skill, and comfort level with horses/ponies and instructors that are right for them. Families can choose from Weekly Group Lessons (45 mins long) or Weekly Private Lessons (30 mins long), depending on their goals. In group lessons, students are with 2-5 students and get ample time in the saddle. As the group meets each week, their skills and comfort increase together, and they make lifelong friends who are also interested in riding. Weekly private lessons are great for riders who prefer one-to-one instruction or those looking to increase their abilities rapidly.

Brand new to riding and not sure if your child will take to it? Start strong with Rosewood’s Introductory Offer at a special rate! First-time Rosewood students can register for the Introductory package that includes four 45-minute lessons for just $299! This is a great way for children and youth to try out the program and for parents to gauge if it is a good fit for their child.
