Give your child a head-start by learning cutting-edge technology at Steamoji. Hands-on experimentation, application, and problem-solving are the core of lessons at Steamoji, and this Fall, your child will thrive in their creative environment.

The highly-trained educators are eager to share their expertise with your child through fun and innovative ways to bridge the gap between rapidly evolving technology and what is taught in the school system. Their mission is to train builders, makers, innovators, and entrepreneurs. By promoting and encouraging a confident, can-do mindset, the instructors will teach students the valuable design process and provide them with skills and tools they will use in real life.

At Steamoji, students, or apprentices as they are called, will learn physical computing, fabrication engineering and digital arts through explicit lessons and self-directed studies in the Build to Solve program (ages 6-14). To get started, families can choose from flexible lengths of time, including 12 months of membership, monthly or by semester (12 weeks). Each Steamoji membership includes 8 directed sessions per month, in addition to 4 drop-in sessions so your child can continue the progress on their unique projects. In each directed session, students will watch a short video clip at their station explaining the task, and then try it themselves with the assistance of facilitators circling the room. Drop-in sessions encourage apprentices to continue working and learning on their own projects. The best part? Parents can follow along with their child’s progress by downloading the Steamoji app to see what their child is working on and the new skills they are acquiring each lesson.

Steamoji also offers a special Oji Junior program for ages 5-6 that introduces the youngest apprentices to basic STEM skills that will help them prepare and be ready for the Build to Solve curriculum as they get older.

If your child loves to learn, build and innovate, register them for a program that will encourage their creativity and innovation. Each apprentice will also receive a special badge that will be used to sign in and out of their ‘workshop’ space. Registration is now open; secure your space today!
