The Sylvan Lake Aqua Splash is back this summer, celebrating its 10th anniversary, with exciting features and the biggest water fun in Alberta. The season is open, so let’s go!
What is the Aqua Splash?
The Sylvan Lake Aqua Splash is an inflatable, floating water park featuring a vast array of attractions. If you haven’t visited lately, this high-energy playground is bigger and better than ever, with exciting features and special obstacles.
Test your skill on everything from climbing slides and trampolines to monkey bars, bouncing domes, and towers. Kids (and adults!) can test momentum and agility on quarter pipes, zigzags, and “speed corners,” or send someone flying with the launch bags.
While committed to fun, safety is the top priority at Aqua Splash. It takes about two weeks and more than 100 hours of scuba diving to set up the intricate anchoring system, securing the water park to the bottom of the lake. Aqua Splash is also well-staffed, with about 45 team members to keep guests safe and entertained. Staff includes 10 to 12 certified lifeguards, and you’ll find at least five guards monitoring the water park during busy periods. Kids need to be at least 6 years old and 3’6″ tall to play, and speaking of safety, life jackets are provided and required for everyone.

You know that summer disappears in the blink of an eye, so mark your calendars! The summer season kicks off at the end of June, and the Aqua Splash is open every day through Labour Day, so you’ll have plenty of chances to enjoy splashy fun.
Besides the exciting obstacles, Aqua Splash also offers a variety of on-shore activities, like games and giveaways. Plus, special occasions like Canada Day are even more fun, with extra giveaways and prizes. Is the weather a little iffy? Just embrace it!
