Just a heads up that Southland Leisure Centre and Village Square Leisure Centre are gearing up for their annual maintenance shutdown where the facilities will close the water parks, drain the pools and repair, replace and clean public amenities. Be sure to check ahead before you visit.
They will be closed beginning September 3, 2024, and reopening in sections — the pools won’t reopen until early October. There will still be access inside the Leisure Centres and tenants such as Alberta Health Services, Calgary Public Library and Fair Entry will be open.
