Circuit Stream Summer Camps: Ignite Your Child’s Curiosity!

Get your kids excited for summer fun that meets your kids where they are and takes them to technical success with real skills! Circuit Stream offers summer camps and programs to ignite your kid’s curiosity about the world. They bring the skills of the future to the summer of 2025!

Circuit Stream helps learners of all ages expand their skills. They collaborate with educational institutions, and in Calgary, you’ll find their programs and camps online or in person at SAIT. Adult courses and pre-university courses for teens help people look to the future and build the skills they need for healthy careers. Summer camps invite kids into this future, helping campers see possibilities between their personal tech interests and future passions.

Summer camps at Circuit Stream are beginner-friendly and taught by experts in the field, offering direct industry exposure. Camps are in-person for the younger crew and online OR in-person for teens. Campers will benefit from the hands-on, project-based learning and will earn a digital badge after completion.

Kids’ Explorer Camps: SAIT

Summer camps for children are held in person at SAIT for kids ages 9 – 12. Camps run from 9 AM – 2 PM for two weeks, allowing campers to dive into learning. Kids can choose from Introduction to Game Design: Build a Mario Game or Lua Coding with Roblox.

Introduction to Game Design: Build a Mario Game: June 30 – July 11 and August 11 – August 22, 2025

In this camp, kids will learn the foundational concepts of game design, from their first ideas to the final development. They’ll bring their unique characters to life through animation and explore the mechanics that control the game world, building different levels, challenges, and environments to engage players. They’ll gain hands-on experience using Microsoft’s MakeCode Arcade to design, code, and test their game.

Lua Coding with Roblox: July 14 – July 25 and July 28 – August 8, 2025

In this camp, campers will learn to navigate Roblox Studio, developing their own immersive adventure game. They’ll explore Lua scripting as they develop game mechanics, logic, and character interaction and they’ll create animated characters. They’ll design environments and terrains for their custom game worlds and implement physics-based gameplay, so objects move realistically.

Teen Camps and Programs: Online or In Person

Teenagers can go even deeper with programs from Circuit Stream. Courses run online with some options available in person at SAIT from 9 AM – 3 PM over two-week periods this summer. Your teens can check out options like AI & Machine Learning with Python and Video Game Coding in person or online. Online-only options include Artificial Intelligence: Building Brains with Deep Learning, Build Your Dream App with AI, Cyber Defender: Ethical Hacking, Finance and Investment Management, and more.
