Peep peep! Thomas the Tank Engine is chugging his way back to Day Out With Thomas at Heritage Park this spring. It’s a train ride adventure your kids will never forget! Thomas is bringing all his best musical instruments to the fun-filled family event, and it’s time to rock and roll with everyone’s favourite tank engine!
If you have little train lovers in your house, you have probably met Thomas the Tank Engine. It’s remarkable how well kids relate to Thomas and his friends as they learn from mistakes, sort out relationships, and find their place in the world. (Or at least their place on the Island of Sodor!)
Day Out With Thomas
Don’t miss this magical event with a cheeky little tank engine! There are two full weekends of exciting Thomas-themed activities, from May 2 – 3 and 9 – 10, 2026. The highlight of the day is an interactive train ride pulled by Thomas himself, but there are plenty of other special activities.
Families can say hello to everyone’s favourite railway controller, Sir Topham Hatt™ and enjoy live entertainment. The beat won’t stop at Music Corner, with hands-on activities, lawn games, and music-inspired fun that will have everyone dancing! Be sure to stop by the exclusive pop-up gift shop for toys and swag. For extra fun, don’t forget your youngster’s favourite Thomas apparel or railroad conductor outfit for wonderful photo ops!
Day Out With Thomas Tickets
This event usually sells out, so get your tickets well in advance to ensure you don’t miss out on the fun! Day Out With Thomas Full Access Tickets include a train ride and all activities. (General admission tickets include access and activities, but not the train ride.) Your ticket is booked for a specific departure time, so be sure to arrive at least 30 minutes before your train ride. Keep in mind that it takes some time to walk from the parking lot to the station. This event runs rain or shine.
