Get ready for FREE summer movies outdoors in the natural amphitheatre ‘The Rise’ on St. Patrick’s Island in Calgary’s East Village! They will be showing a double feature on August 20, 2026. Come see A Bug’s Life and 10 Things I Hate About You. We recommend getting there early to find a great spot to sit. Please leave your chairs at home, as they won’t work on the steep slope of The Rise.
