Dogs! A Science Tail: It’s not just puppy love! Dogs are protectors, playmates, and good listeners. Plus, they make the best companions for all kinds of summer adventures! See the world through the eyes (and nose and ears) of a dog this summer, with this fascinating new exhibit. Hands-on activities open the door to new discoveries. How does your running speed compare to the world’s fastest dogs? Can you train a virtual dog? Play ‘pup-culture’ Jeopardy or walk an invisible dog through the neighbourhood maze. It’s a dog’s life this summer!

Speaking of dogs, don’t miss the chance to meet R-D this summer! R-D is the new robot dog at TELUS W0rld of Science – Edmonton, and it will show off its talents with daily ‘walks’ at 1 PM and 4 PM, at Dogs! A Science Tail exhibition.

Meet R-D!

Science Sundaes: A science mashup with ice cream? Yes, please! Every Sunday in July, get a front seat to the coolest competition of the summer, as liquid nitrogen ice cream flavours go head-to-head. Of course, you’ll have to taste these ‘experiments’ in the name of science to give an informed vote on the best scoop! Which flavour will be the Science Sundaes champion? Plus, discover ice-cream-inspired activities and sweet science throughout the building.

Of course, there’s always tons going on at TELUS World of Science – Edmonton. Get your tickets for the coolest show in town, with the K-Pop Demon Hunters Laser Show and ‘feel the wow’ with the giant IMAX shows. (Don’t miss Superpower Dogs or The Lost Wolves of Yellowstone!)

TELUS World of Science – Edmonton is open daily all summer long. Plus, if you have a TELUS Spark membership in Calgary, check the Reciprocal Agreement for Canadian Science Centres for free entry to the facility, with a small fee for special exhibits (show tickets are not included). If you’re in the area for a few days, be sure to check out their city-wide offers, too!
