You loved our Summer Fun Bucket List, so we’re keeping the fun going with an Edmonton Fall Fun Bucket List! From pumpkin patches and corn mazes to Halloween traditions, cozy drinks, football games, and fall festivals, there are so many fun things to do in Edmonton with kids this season.

The only challenge? Fitting it all in before that first snowfall!

Fall Fun Bucket List Banner🎃 Pick your own pumpkins at a pumpkin patch. Choose the perfect pumpkins to decorate your porch or turn into jack-o’-lanterns. With Edmonton’s early frosts, pumpkin picking is often best enjoyed in September. Somerset Farms and Violet Gardens and Greenhouse are popular spots for the quintessential Pumpkin Picking experience.

🌽 Get lost in a corn maze. Nothing says fall quite like navigating your way through a giant corn maze! Make a family day of it at one of the many Corn Mazes near Edmonton.

👩‍🌾 Take part in a Harvest Festival. Celebrate the season with old-fashioned family fun at places like the Reynolds Museum in Wetaskiwin, Leduc West Antique Society, and Stony Plain Pioneer Museum. Explore historic farm equipment, watch demonstrations, and experience what harvest season was like in the past. Find more ideas in our guide to Country Fairs & Harvest Festivals.

🍿 Watch an outdoor movie. September is a perfect time to squeeze in one more outdoor movie before the weather turns too chilly. Pack blankets, lawn chairs, and snacks, then settle in under the stars with our guide to Outdoor Movies.

🏈 Cheer on the Green and Gold at a football game. Fall means football! Catch an Edmonton Elks game and enjoy a family-friendly day at the stadium, with Kids Zone activities before games and affordable ticket options. Check out the Edmonton Elks schedule and plan your game day.

🍂 Love fall foliage but want to stay cozy indoors? Check out the new Fall Harvest Feature Pyramid at Muttart Conservatory, filled with colourful chrysanthemums, pumpkins, twinkling lights and plenty of autumn charm.

⛳ Challenge the family to a round of mini golf. Squeeze in an outdoor round before the snow arrives, or look for a spooky indoor course as Halloween approaches. ☕ Enjoy a cozy seasonal drink together. Pumpkin spice latte, anyone? Grab a warm coffee, apple cider, or hot chocolate and enjoy a cozy fall outing together. Bonus points if you sip it while taking in the changing leaves.

🍂 Go for a fall-colour walk. Take advantage of those gorgeous autumn leaves before they disappear! Head to a favourite Edmonton park or trail, bring the kids, and turn your walk into a mini scavenger hunt. Look for the brightest red leaf, the biggest yellow leaf, acorns, pinecones, and other signs of fall.

🔥 Have a cozy campfire evening. Bundle up, gather around a fire pit, roast marshmallows, and enjoy one of those crisp fall evenings that make Edmonton autumns so special. Add hot chocolate, blankets, and a few family-friendly games for the perfect fall night at home.
