Beaty Centre for Marine Biodiversity | Now Open – Thursdays through Sundays
Halifax’s newest attraction will have you discovering new worlds! From live local species to hands-on exhibits, the Beaty Centre for Marine Biodiversity brings ocean science to life for families, students, and curious explorers of all ages.
Bricks by the Sea | Until January 3rd
The Museum of Natural History’s annual holiday exhibit is on until January 3rd, with amazing, new LEGO creations!
Live Sports Action | Throughout January
The PWHL is back in town on the 11th, the Halifax Mooseheads have home games on January 15th and 25th, and Halifax Thunderbirds are in action January 16th and 31st.
Neptune Theatre Presents: The Wizard 0f Oz | Until January 11th
This family favourite has is only here until January 11th, so be sure to catch it live on stage at Neptune before it’s too late!
Canada Strong Pass | Until January 12th
🆓 Until January 12th, 2026, you can get free (children 17 and under) or reduced (50% off, youth 18-24) admission at the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia and the Canadian Museum of Immigration, plus other great savings!
Skating at Emera Oval | January and beyond
🆓 Outdoor skating at Emera Oval is back for the season. Bring your skates or rent a pair for free with ID and have fun with your family while the ice lasts!
Downtown Dartmouth Ice Festival | January 30 – February 1
