Metro Vancouver embraces the arrival of Spring every year by offering up a deluge of family-friendly events. Check out some of the highlights for March events 2026!

Outdoor Adventure & Travel Show | February 28 & March 1, 2026

If your family loves to get outdoors and travel around this beautiful province, then you won’t want to miss the Outdoor Adventure and Travel Show. Get gear recommendations, meet with experts and companies, attend specialty seminars and hear from some of the best in the business. There’s even an area for ā€œJunior Adventurersā€ with a free climbing wall.

Festival Du Bois | March 6-8, 2026

Come hear a wealth of French Canadian and francophone folk, world, and original music – both traditional and new. Have fun at on-site activities, sample delicious food, and revel in an ambiance of warmth and welcome.

ā­ļø Where the Wild Things Are | March 10-22, 2026

Featured: Carousel Theatre for Young People presents Maurice Sendak’s classic story “Where the Wild Things Are.” For over 20 years, ā€œWhere the Wild Things Areā€ has been a hit with audiences of kids and adults alike because of its playfulness and depiction of childhood. This classic story and production illuminate a child’s fantastical world and remind us all that, regardless of the type of wild day we had, returning home to those who love us is the best place to be. The show is best suited for ages 3-7.

ā­ļø Gabby’s Dollhouse Live! | March 13 & 15, 2026

Featured: Gabby and the gang are thrilled to welcome audiences to Surrey on March 13 and Vancouver on March 15 with everyone’s favourite songs from the television series, including “Hey Gabby,” “Sprinkle Party,” and “You Can’t Spell Meow Without Me.”Ā  Featuring incredible puppets, vibrant costumes, and a dynamic set, this show will have audiences toe-tapping and clapping with joy! With 80 minutes of interactive dance and audience participation, fun special effects like bubbles and streamers, and a convenient intermission halfway through, even the youngest audience members will have a ball with the whole cat-astic crew!

Night Quest | March 13 & 14, 2026

Nature at night is a magical experience. Wander down forest trails decorated with glowing animal lanterns and meet friendly forest creatures who will delight you with nature tales. This is a one-hour, self-guided experience.

Pi Day | March 14, 2026

Does anyone else get a little chuckle out of Pi Day (aka March 14th, aka 3.14)? This is a great day to serve pie for breakfast, lunch and dinner– or plan a tour of some of The Best Pie Shops in Metro Vancouver.

Spring Break Events at Indigo | March 15-21, 2026

Chapters Indigo is hosting their popular Spring Play Days from March 15 – 21, 2026. Each day, participants can register for a fun storytime and craft activity. Pre-registration is required, but all sessions are free!

Staples Kids Workshops | March 16 & 18, 2026

Staples Stores are offering FREE in-store crafts and activities for kids! These monthly events feature popular brands such as Crayola, LEGO, Staedler, and more. This month, make a Finger Loom craft and a Mini Magician. The events require pre-registration, and spaces are filling up fast!

ā­ļøPAW Patrol Live: “A Mighty Adventure!” | March 20 & 21, 2026

Featured: Join Ryder and his crew of mighty pups to save Adventure City from an evil villain. See your favourite furry heroes on stage with fabulous songs to groove to, life-sized puppets and pup costumes, high-energy dance numbers, and age-appropriate storytelling that will have the whole family cheering along.

ā­ļø The Next Step: Legacy Tour | March 22, 2026

Featured: Are you ready for an epic dance party with The Next Step? You’ve followed along with the talented dancers on the popular Canadian teen television show, and now is your chance to see them LIVE in person for a star-studded performance. Featuring your favourite dance crews from previous and current seasons, the dancers will reunite to share stories and iconic moments from the series, along with vibrant new choreography.

Spring Break at Evergreen Cultural Centre | March 24 & 26, 2026

This year, Evergreen Cultural Centre is featuring The Trollsons and Mike Battie: Juggler Extraordinaire as the special Spring Break performances!

Enchanted Forest | March 26, 2026

Plan for an hour of fun along a forest trail and come dressed as a magical woodland creature. There will be hands-on activities, playtime in the Nature Discovery Area, and community exhibitors.

Monster Jam | March 27-28, 2026

Do you like big trucks and big noise? Monster Jam roars won’t disappoint! This show is great for all ages of monster truck aficionados.

Cherry Blossom Festival | March 27 – mid-April, 2026

The most beautiful time of year is almost upon us in Metro Vancouver. The pink and white cherry blossoms are a quintessential image of Vancouver in the Spring. It is only fitting that an entire month-long festival is dedicated to the beautiful blossoms and their Japanese heritage. The official festival begins on March 28th with Blossoms After Dark and the Big Picnic takes place on March 29th this year.
