The big city has lots of advantages, but sometimes we need a small-town experience for friendly faces and the warmth of community! Bow Valley Boot Stomp is Cochrane’s small-town country festival with big energy and hometown heart. This July, get ready for high-energy performances and the kind of festival where you have space to breathe. The lines are shorter, the scenery is spectacular, and it’s fun, safe, and perfect for families, friends, and country fans of all ages!

Bow Valley Boot Stomp (BVBS) is a two-day, small-town country music festival on July 24 – 25, 2026. It takes place at the Cochrane & District Agricultural Society. This festival, while only a few years old, has rapidly grown to bring music lovers together for a weekend of amazing performances and outdoor fun for all ages. This festival has hosted many talented country music artists, and BVBS aims to spotlight emerging country music artists, with over half of the performers coming from right here in Alberta. It’s a homegrown festival in every way!

Shawnee Kish and The Prairie States are headlining this year’s Bow Valley Boot Stomp. You’ll also hear from the following country music artists:

  • Mariya Stokes
  • Dawson Gray
  • Morgan Klaiber
  • Taylor-Rae
  • Brayden King
  • Travis Pickering
