If you are looking for a summer camp that is incorporates a solid, child-development centered curriculum with a healthy dose of fun, then look no further than Kids U. Kids U takes a lot of pride in designing programs that have the child’s age in mind and benefits the whole child. And of course, Kids U summer camps take advantage of the warm summer months to get outside as much as possible through outings to the park, nature walks, games, and even some messy play! Kids U also creates a balance of activities that add up to a memorable camp experience for children ages 3 to 12.

Camp Themes for Kids Ages 3 – 6

Stampede Rush: July 4 – 14
Cowboys and cowgirls welcome! Children attending Kids U summer camps these weeks will explore our western roots through movement and imaginative play.

Outdoor Adventures: July 17 – 28
Pack extra sunscreen and bugspray for these action packed weeks in the big wide wonder, exploring nature and the surrounding environment.

Water Exploration: July 31 – August 11
Does it sink? Does it float? Does it splash? Are you wet yet? Come play with us as we learn all about water, both in and outside.

Creative Fun: August 14 – 25
Who knows what we’ll dream up next during these inventive and active weeks in the Movement and Right Brain rooms? Teachers and kids will come up with different ideas, and the sky is the limit!

 

Camp Themes for Kids Ages 7 – 14

Camp Themes for Kids Ages 6-12

These summer camps are held at the SoccerGenius Centre. Along with out of school summer care, busing transportation is available from the West 85th, New Brighton, and the McKnight locations to and from SoccerGenius.

Summer Fun: July 3 – 7
This camp will have a lot of fun and engaging activities including a Mission Impossible obstacle course, relay races, rainbow eruptions, bouncy balls and much more!

Stampede: July 10 – 14
It’s a Western-themed week! Activities include pool noodle ponies, Native American weaving, and more.

Global Games: July 24 – 28
This week will have a variety of games and activities so that children can experience other cultures.

Superhero: July 31 – August 4
Children will create superhero outfits and are encouraged to wear their own costume if they have one! Participants will also do some superhero training to get ready to go out to do good in the world.

Never Ending Summer: August 8 – 11
There is never-ending fun to be had at this camp, with Science experiments, homemade harmonicas,  tie dye, and friendship bracelets! 

Under the Big Top: August 14 – 18
Have you ever wanted to run away and join the circus?  Children will learn baton twirling, juggling, and balancing acts!

SoccerGenius Skills Camps

Do you want your child to discover new soccer skills, make new friends, improve their game, and have tons of fun at camp? Do you want them to be able to grow their healthy body and healthy mind while building confidence in a positive and safe, kid-centered environment with certified and trained staff? SoccerGenius Camps are designed to teach children from ages 7-14 beginner, intermediate, and advanced skill development. Our camp provides a perfect blend of mind and body activities to double your child’s fun and skills. These camps are being offered through Kids U but at our SoccerGenius location.

SoccerGenius Girl Power: August 21 – 25 (ages 7 – 14)

SoccerGenius Intermediate/Advanced Skills: August 28 – September 1 (ages 10 – 14)
