Are you ready for DINO SUMMER?! TELUS Spark frequently has special exhibits and events, and there’s no better time to check it out than when the kids are off school. There’s a world of science and wonder waiting for your family, and you don’t want to miss the newest exhibit, because the dinosaurs have arrived! SUE the T.rex is visiting Calgary from June 27 to November 29, 2026.
SUE the T. rex Experience
Meet the most famous dinosaur in the world! SUE the T. rex is the most complete, best-preserved Tyrannosaurus rex ever found. And this summer, SUE is in Calgary with an immersive exhibition that brings SUE to life through a multi-sensory experience. Come face to face with the T. rex. This full-scale cast will give clues to the life SUE lived as it towers above you. Explore the exhibit to see a triceratops, discover how SUE the T. rex was found, and catch a fleshed-out replica of a T. rex in the middle of a hunt. Step into a prehistoric environment. You can even smell the odiferous breath of a T. rex. (But trust me, you don’t want to – yuck!)

• Dig for fossils in the Dino Dig Pit

Admission to SUE the T. rex Experience is included with your membership or general admission. Plan a whole day at TELUS Spark, because there’s so much else to discover. Little ones love the Creative Kids Museum, and older kids will be fascinated by the hands-on discoveries with the BLUprint Experience. Make sure to leave time for the epic, outdoor Brainasium and burn some energy!
