Each whimsical cottage is designed and handcrafted by Charmed Playhouses in Lethbridge, AB. The family-run business got its start building custom luxury playhouses in 2015 and quickly gained popularity when they were featured on their own TLC show Playhouse Masters and garnered attention from celebrity clients like NBA MVP Stephen Curry. Today they continue to build and ship storybook-inspired playhouses all over the continent while supplying storybook cottages for Charmed Resorts.
Charmed Resorts | Belle’s Cottage
Charmed Resorts introduced their first Cottage experience in 2021 and bookings have not slowed down! Their flagship location is nestled in the mountains of the Crowsnest Pass, just outside the town of Blairmore. They currently offer 14 cottages, with plans to add 3 more alongside additional resort activities and amenities. They are ALL incredible but some of our favourites include Rapunzel’s Cottage, Midsummer Cottage, Hook’s Pirate Ship, Tinkerbell’s Treehouse, and the Beast’s Castle (complete with dungeon room!).

Most of the cottages comfortably sleep 6, making them the perfect option for large or extended families. Each comes fully furnished and equipped with a fire pit, barbeque, and wood-fired hot tub for the ultimate glamping experience!
A NEW Charmed Resorts Location is Coming to Alberta in 2024
In January 2024 Charmed announced their second location will be Charmed Resorts Mulhurst Bay! We are excited that this all-new resort at Pigeon Lake will put Calgarians within a 3 hour drive of BOTH locations. While Edmonton fans will certainly be thrilled to have a resort closer to home, we love the idea of being able to easily choose between mountain and lake locations. There will be plenty to see and do at both, with the new resort planning to offer up a mix of fan favourite cottages and brand-new storybook-inspired designs!
Charmed Resorts | Rapunzel’s Cottage
Charmed Resorts Mulhurst Bay will be planned and built with Parcels at Mulhurst Bay. This new seasonal RV Park will offer private 1/4 acre recreational lots to campers looking for a more permanent home-away-from-home. The fairytale theming will carry through to the amenities and events that will be offered to both RV Park members and cottage guests.
