This summer, it’s time for an adventure and Trellis Society is ready to welcome your kids to their lively summer camps! With engaging games, playtime, crafts, and meaningful connections, kids can enjoy a little fun and excitement after a busy year. Parents, you don’t need to worry about your kids at Trellis — it’s a safe place for your kids to go while you work, filled with things they love. Trellis Society has summer day camps that both kids and parents will appreciate.
Trellis Society became one of Calgary’s largest social service agencies when the two legacy organizations (Boys & Girls Clubs of Calgary and Aspen Family & Community Network) came together in 2020. They are offering summer camps in multiple locations throughout the city: Bowness, Penbrooke, Pineridge, and Renfrew. Every location will offer a weekly summer camp for kids from grade one to grade six and the Bowness and Renfrew locations will offer a preschool/kindergarten group. Camps run 9 am – 4:30 pm from Monday to Friday each week, except for the Bowness location, which runs from Monday to Thursday each week.
The summer camp themes at Trellis Society offer your kids up to eight weeks of stimulating activity, with arts, crafts, games, and more. Kids will find a fun new theme every week. Would your kids like to travel to the animal kingdom this summer or step into a sci-fi world? They can play sports, find fantastic adventures, and investigate the curious and mysterious. Whatever they choose, it’s sure to be a great summer, filled with play and imagination.
Trellis Society knows summer camps also need to appeal to parents, and you’ll appreciate their four convenient locations. You’ll also find pre-care (7 – 9 am) and post-care (4:30 – 5:30 pm) available at the Renfrew site every week, with pre-care from 8 – 9 am and post-care from 4:30 – 5:30 pm available at the Bowness, Pineridge, and Penbrooke locations (for Bowness and Penbrooke, a minimum of seven kids need to be registered for the week). Families will appreciate the tiered pricing system, that confidentially acknowledges different situations, while still providing a high-quality camp experience.
