Canada Day is the day we celebrate confederation. However with the recent and incredibly devastating discovery of children’s remains at former residential school sites across the country, celebration may not feel appropriate for some. Family Fun Edmonton recognizes that Canada has work to do in righting past wrongs and forging a more equal and inclusive future.
Our mandate here is to share family-friendly events all year long, as we promote events surrounding Canada Day we want you to know that our goal is to give everyone the best information possible so that they can decide the best way for their family to mark July 1. However you choose to commemorate the day, know that we wish you peace, love and comfort as we work to become a more united Canada.
