Trains at the Burnaby Central Railway with Spring Rain

Posted on: May 18, 2013

We finally made it out to Confederation Park to ride trains with the Burnaby Central Railway Association. An entire month has passed since they opened on the Easter long weekend; if our boys could actually read a calendar, they would be appalled it took us so long to get there.

Spectacular Seawall

Posted on: May 6, 2013

The other day I bravely took our boys, by myself, to bike ride along the seawall.  In hindsight it may not have been the most well thought out decision; it was, however, memorable.  Fortunately I elected to do this on a weekday when the seawall is less busy.  My biggest

Posted on: March 12, 2013

We have two favourite haunts in Maple Ridge: Big Feast and Maple Ridge Park.  Every few weeks either my husband or I wake up with the desire for a Big Feast breakfast.  He is keen on the green eggs and ham; I love the spinach eggs benny (with yummy artichoke

Exceptional Horseback Riding Experience

Posted on: February 11, 2013

We were fortunate to spend our Family Day morning riding horses at A & T Equestrian in Surrey.  What an experience! As you pull into the gravel parking lot, you quickly learn this is a place that LOVES animals.  They are everywhere and every one we met was incredibly friendly.
