Curious kids aged 2 to 5 are invited to head down to the Bow Habitat Station on the first Wednesday of every month for some learning fun! Fun and knowledgeable station staff offers four different sessions – at 10 am, 11 am, 1 pm and 2 pm. In each session, kids will learn about elements of wildlife and nature through crafts, stories and other hands-on activities. There’s a different theme every month and the small program fee includes access to the Discovery Centre for the day.

Space in each session is limited so advance registration (with payment) is highly recommended; walkups cannot usually be accommodated due but if you call ahead (403 297-6561), staff will let you know if there have been any cancellations. Each session costs just $2 per child (accompanied by a paid adult or senior, maximum 4 kids per adult). Apply to register online starting on the 15th of every month.

Here are the upcoming themes:

July 5, 2017: Bugs
August 2, 2017: Beavers
