The Genesis Centre of Community Wellness, coined as the community and cultural hub for the northeast quadrant of the city, is proud to offer 4 different summer camps for our children to get active and stay active this summer. Register now and watch your child grow, developing more than their sports skills, but sustainable friendships and beaming self-confidence!

 

Genesis Basketball

For boys and girls aged 9 to 15, the Genesis Basketball Summer Camp is a week your basketball players will spend getting back to basics, working on developing their skills while having fun! Both camps run from 9 am to 3:30 pm, with the boys camp dated July 25 to July 29, and the girls’ camp dated August 8 to August 12.

Sportball

This outdoor soccer program introduces your little one to the basic skills and fundamental concepts of the game. Completely non-competitive, the program is designed to target passing, dribbling and mastering throw-ins, through fun skill-focused games! With programs running from July 9 to August 20, 2016, children will be divided into three age categories (2-3 year olds, 3-5 year olds, and 5-7 year olds). Parents are required to stay on the field during this program which runs from 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Hawks Field Hockey Summer Camp

Partnering with Hawks Field Hockey Academy, Genesis Centre is proud to offer several week long field hockey summer camps. This skill development camp is open to those at all skill levels – from beginner to advanced, to experience all the excitement and fun the sport of field hockey has to offer! Alien Inline Summer Camp

Geared to children aged 6 to 12, this inline skating camp divides children up into two groups (6-8 year olds and 9-12 year olds) to develop those basic skating skills. Alien Inline instructors spend a lot of time engaging campers in fun and original skate games, and just might have a few tricks up their sleeve to share with their skaters. All camps run from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, choose from 3 different weeks dated July 18 to July 22, August 2 to August 5, and August 15 to August 19, 2016.
