Hey, Calgary, do you like to golf? Share your passion with your kids! Calgary has lots of golfing options, and it can be quite inexpensive to get your kids started.
Check out Take a Kid to the Course, where juniors can golf for free at participating courses with a paying adult. This runs the first full week in July.
In the past, the City of Calgary has offered Family Golf Nights, with free junior golf at two city courses (McCall Lake Par 3 and Lakeview Golf Courses) with a paying adult from 5 pm to close on select Saturdays from June to August. We haven’t seen this offered since 2024, but there are a few other options, with Lakeview and McCall Lake getting a special mention.
