It’s the perfect opportunity to get another use out of the chosen Halloween costume (or, if your kids can’t decide, another costume!) and get out of the house for some fun family time.
Everyone knows how busy Halloween weekend can be, so you need to spread out the fun! On October 22, 2022, mark your calendars for the Children’s Halloween Party at New Horizon Mall. From 1 to 3 pm, kids of all ages will enjoy trick-or-treating, crafts, and a chance to meet mascots. Plan on being there for the Magic Show at 2 pm, as well. Everyone is welcome to this free event — and if you can get a few errands done at the mall while you’re there, it’s even better for busy families!
Is your family looking for Halloween fun that’s a little spookier? This event is held in conjunction with Haunted Calgary, a haunted walk-through attraction held in the underground parkade of New Horizon Mall. While Haunted Calgary is normally recommended for older kids or teens, they do have ‘low-scare’ hours on October 22, 2022, from 1 – 4 pm. Low-scare tickets are $10 and kids 5 and under are free. This time is suitable for all ages, but parents should use their discretion. Some scenes may still be too scary or gory and some children may find the experience too intense.
