Originally from Pictou County, NS, Amber graduated from SMU with a B.Sc. in Geology/Geography and went west to Edmonton, where she found a career in the land surveying industry for 15+ years, while also being a homeschooling mom. Amber shifted gears in 2020 and became a solopreneur, starting Explore Virtual Services. In 2021, Amber and her two daughters moved to Nova Scotia, and eventually settled in Halifax again. She joined the Family Fun team in 2024, and has enjoyed bringing fun and unique events to families ever since!
