Born and raised in the West Kootenay region of BC, Carla spent 12 years living in the north of England with her British husband and son before returning to Canada. Since settling in Calgary, she makes a point of getting out and experiencing all the great attributes of this city and loves getting involved in her community by volunteering and community service. In addition to the positive and upbeat take on life that's reflected in her freelance writing, she adores being outside and anything to do with books. Carla is also currently enrolled in distance learning at Athabasca University.
