The Ultimate Guide to Indoor Play Places in Calgary & Area – including Trampoline Parks & Parkour Studios!

Family Fun Calgary's Ultimate Guide to Indoor Playgrounds, Trampoline Parks and Parkour Studios!

I can say many wonderful things about Calgary (friendly people, great neighborhoods, awesome parks, need I go on??), but I may be hard pressed to offer up happy words about some of our weather. While I whole-heartedly encourage families to enjoy the snow on fair days, we Calgarians do experience quite a number of freezing cold and super windy days when it is simply tough to be outside – especially with young kids. Happily, Calgary is also home to many indoor play places, from climbing structures to trampoline parks to parkour studios and beyond. Here’s the lowdown on all those wonderful winter sanctuaries!

We’ve included each location’s website so you can get complete and up-to-date details like pricing, age restrictions, opening hours and special events. And to avoid getting repetitive… most (if not all) of these locations do offer birthday parties! Again, check the website for details. One bit of advice… if in doubt, take socks for everyone, kids and adults alike.

Devonian Gardens

Devonian Gardens are a full hectare of green space located inside The CORE retail mall. Since 1977, Calgarians have flocked to this downtown oasis to take a break, have a bite to eat, and bask in the greenery. The gardens, which were completely renovated in 2012, feature gorgeous skylights to let in a ton of natural light, unique plants, and a fun indoor playground. The ponds are stocked with koi fish and it’s a lovely place to visit.
