November is that in-between month. The fun part of fall is mostly over, but it’s not really the holidays yet (even if it seems like Christmas is exploding everywhere!). The weather could be nice, but it could also be bitterly cold. This all just means that it’s time to find something fun to do with your family!

There’s a new exhibit at The Military Museums. Blood, Sweat and Tears: Canadian Military Medicine will be open all month long and it’s a unique opportunity to explore Canadian military medicine from the 19th century to the more recent war in Afghanistan.
If you’re looking for an easy mid-week activity for your younger kids, Heritage Park Storytime is back and on the move on Wednesday mornings in November. You’ll enjoy favourite stories at favourite places throughout Heritage Park and it’s included with the cost of admission (Gasoline Alley rates).

Jubilations Jr. is presenting The Guardians of Christmas, every Saturday at 11 am, starting on November 18, 2023. Designed for kids, but offering funny parodies for adults, this is a dinner theatre the whole family can enjoy.
Looking for Christmas wonder? The Polar Express train ride at Aspen Crossing begins on November 24, 2023. You will be whisked away to the magic of the North Pole to meet Santa on this marvellous Christmas ride. It’s a lovely adventure for the little ones.
