November is that in-between month. The turmoil of back to school is long behind us (it takes at least 6 weeks, in my experience) and the retail world is in full-on Christmas mode, but it’s not really the holidays yet. The weather could be nice, but it could also be bitterly cold. I always want to plan a vacation for November, but January is coming, too, and then I’ll really need one. Regardless of how you feel about November, find something fun to do with your family!


#LoveYYC Day (Family Fun Calgary)

November 3, 2018, is #LoveYYC Day and there are deals and fun to be had all over town! Take a look at the list and see what you think. Studio Bell, for example, is offering admission for only $10.

 

 

 

 


Dude Show (Family Fun Calgary)

There’s are women’s shows, home shows, baby and tot shows . . . now Calgary has the Dude Show!  On November 3, 2018, men and their families are invited to the inaugural Dude Show Expo at the Big Four Building! (There will be lots to interest women and children, too, so bring the whole family.)

 

 


Flames Red Rally (Family Fun Calgary)

The Calgary Flames Red Rally is November 4, 2018, with all kinds of fun family activities to celebrate the team you love. Try some games, watch a practice, see Harvey the Hound . . . get your tickets soon!

Jubilations Jr. is presenting Star Warz: The Elf Strikes Back, every Saturday at 11 am, starting on November 17, 2018. Designed for kids, but offering funny parodies for adults, this is a dinner theatre the whole family can enjoy.

 

 

 

 


ZOOLIGHTS (Family Fun Calgary)

What would Christmas in Calgary be without ZOOLIGHTS?! The glow is returning on November 23, 2018, with all it’s sparkly, shimmering magic and wonderful family activities.

Looking for more Christmas wonder? The Polar Express train ride at Aspen Crossing begins on November 23, 2018. You will be whisked away to the magic of the North Pole to meet Santa on this marvellous Christmas ride.

Come and Skinnamarink with Sharon, Bram, and Friends one last time, as the well-known kids’ entertainers make a stop in Calgary for their final tour on November 18, 2018. They’ve had 40 years of singing together.
