Father’s Day | June 21, 2026
Dads are special guys who work hard, play hard, and do a lot of great things for their families. This Father’s Day, plan some family time and let Dad know how special he is to you. We’ve got a bunch of ideas (beyond the BBQ — although we like that, too!) for fun family events and activities you can all do together in Calgary.
High River Medieval Faire and Tournament | June 27 – 28, 2026

All Month | Eating out is one of life’s pleasures, but when you’ve got extra mouths to feed, restaurant meals can get very expensive, very quickly. All Month | It’s a good month to escape to a park! Now that my kids aren’t so little, playgrounds are often an attraction, but parks hold so much more than that for us these days. Calgary parks offer everything from playgrounds to exploring nature to playing a rousing game of whatever you can imagine. (Disc golf, anyone?)
