My daughter’s favorite color is green (and pink), so I was not at all surprised when I asked her once what character she liked best and she said Tinkerbell. But recently my great big girl (7 yesterday!) informed me that she liked Jake now because he was so cool. Her brother piped up; “I like Jake too; He’s AWESOME” (his new favorite word). What I think is AWESOME is no commercials and and no violence on Disney Jr Canada. Although my children have a way better imagination than I do, I still hear a lot of “We’re bored there’s nothing to do”. So one of my favorite things to do with them is tell them to pretend to go on an adventure in Neverland like Jake and his friends. Saves me every time!
