Only a few short days before the never-before-seen animated short “Get A Horse!” with Mickey Mouse and featuring Walt Disney as the voice of the iconic character makes its world debut on Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at the Annecy Animation Festival in Annecy, France.
This is old school animation at its best! From Walt Disney Animation Studios black-and-white, hand-drawn short follows Mickey, his favorite gal pal Minnie Mouse and their friends Horace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow in a musical wagon ride—until Peg-Leg Pete shows up and tries to run them off the road.
The charm of old style hand drawn animation never fades, and anytime Mickey and Minnie are in the picture I feel about 5 years old! Sadly I won’t be jetting off to France to see it in person but I wouldn’t be surprised to see it come out as a special feature with future Disney DVD releases!
