Camps aren’t just for the little ones! Your big kids can have an amazing and new experience this summer. Camp Kindling will help your child develop leadership skills, improve social skills, or gain self-confidence. There is no better memory than one of the summer camps as a teenager. Find a new friend from a different community, explore a place you’ve never been, and discover the educational and social enrichment offered by summer programs.
Camp Kindling, formally known as Co-op Camp or the Saskatchewan Co-operative Youth Program, has been leading Co-operative Youth Education in Saskatchewan for more than 90 years. They offer four- and five-day overnight summer camp sessions held in July and August and is for youth ages 12 to 18. These camps have a long-standing tradition of promoting inclusivity and open participation in their programming.
Camp Kindling Summer Sessions
Junior Camp: For youth who are 12 and 13 years old and new to the program
Dates: July 5 – 9, 2022 Location: Candle Lake
Introductory Camp 1: Welcoming back Junior participants as well as 14 and 15-year-olds who are new to the program.
Dates: July 9 – 14, 2022 | Location: Candle Lake
Doug Alexander Intermediate Camp: This camp is for youth who have completed the Introductory level, or 16 to 18-year-olds who are new to the program.
Dates: July 21 – 25, 2022 | Location: Last Mountain Lake
Introductory Camp 2: Welcoming back Junior participants as well as 14 and 15-year-olds who are new to the program.
Date: July 25 – 29, 2022 | Location: Last Mountain Lake
