Harlem Globetrotters | January 9 – 10, 2026

Wicked b-ball skills + hilarious comedy = The Original Harlem Globetrotters. Lucky for Calgary families, they’re coming to town! This must-see event is guaranteed to entertain the whole family and create some fantastic memories.


Calgary Hitmen Sunday Funday | January 11, 2026

Enjoy a Sunday Funday with the Calgary Hitmen, with extra games, kids’ activities, and special food and beverage pricing. There’s a post-game skate, too!


Free Beginner Skate Lessons | Saturdays in January

If you want to learn how to skate, the City of Calgary is offering FREE beginner skating lessons for all ages on Saturdays for all of January at Prince’s Island Park Lagoon. Each lesson will kick off with a 30-minute guided lesson, followed by skating support as you practice.


Olympic Oval Toonie Nights | Mondays in January

Skate the Fastest Ice in the World! Save some money with Toonie Nights on Monday nights at the Olympic Oval.


Banff SnowDays | January 16 – February 8, 2026

Falling into the category of “You can’t do anything about it, so you might as well enjoy winter,” comes Banff SnowDays, with a variety of wintery fun activities. Treat your family to some time in the mountains.
