Do you have a budding artist in your family? Each year the government of Canada hosts a Canada Day poster challenge. They invite children ages 5 -18 to share their thoughts of what it means to be a Canadian, artistically.
This year’s theme is 1812: The Fight For Canada.
There are some pretty cool prizes broken down by province, including a trip to see the historic sites of the war of 1812 in Montreal and the Niagara region, laptops and other prizes. Regardless, everyone who participates will receive a special Celebrate Canada souvenir.
