We all know that our kids need to be more physically active, but sometimes we need a little reminder to get our kids up off the couch and playing. Kids and Company has declared June 7 the National Day of Play. With Canada recently being given an D- on the Active Healthy Kids Long Term Report Card, it’s time for our kids to up their game when it comes to physical activity!
Kids and Company families, corporate partners, their families and the general community are invited to participate in Kidco National Day of Play events happening in Victoria, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Halifax where kids will learn fun games that they can play in their very own yards. The cost is $15 per family with all profits going to KidSport, a national not-for-profit organization that provides financial assistance for registration fees and equipment to kids 2 yrs old to 18 years old.
