My kids love cold treats on a hot day. I have gotten into the habit of always having frozen pops on hand because I know as soon as the kids have been playing in the sunshine they will run in begging for some. I normally make them with whatever 100% fruit juice I have on hand but I decided to try something fun after I found a recipe for these ones via Pinterest.

Pina Colada Frozen Pops Recipe

Ingredients:

398mL can pineapple chunks
400mL can coconut milk
1 banana
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/8 cup sugar (you can omit the sugar but I like it a little sweeter and even with the added sugar it only works out to be 1/2 tsp per popsicle of non-fruit sugar).

Directions:

Blend all the ingredients and pour into popsicle molds.

I love the Tovolo molds for their fun shapes and pretty colours. You can find them at most Winners and Home Sense stores in the spring. The above recipe fills 12 Tovolo molds (2 sets). You can also find popsicle molds at grocery stores and even at the dollar store. Just ensure they are BPA-free and dishwasher safe.
