May the Fourth be With You!

Most Star Wars junkies know what Star Wars day is! And this year, Family Channel is celebrating with the premiere of the newest animated LEGO Star Wars Adventure, The New Yoda Chronicles.

Taking place during the prequel Star Wars era, The New Yoda Chronicles is a funny and exciting four-part miniseries featuring the Grand Master of the Jedi Council himself, Yoda. Known for his deep wisdom, superior command of the Force and epic light saber skills, the series features some of Yoda’s most exciting adventures with the greatest villains in the universe. The first episode “Escape from the Jedi Temple,” sees Yoda and the Ghost of Obi-Wan Kenobi decide it’s time to further Luke’s Jedi training when his immaturity almost puts him and his friends into the hands of the evil Sith Lord Darth Vader. They test Luke’s strength by bringing the last of the Jedi Holocrons out of hiding, but first Yoda and Obi-Wan reminisce about the rousing heist they pulled to free the Holocrons from the Temple in the dawning days of the Empire.

Programming on Star Wars Day also includes an out-of-this-world episode of A.N.T. Farm at 10:50 a.m. ET/PT, where the gang visits George Lucas’ Skywalker Ranch!

The second part of the epic mini-series will premiere on Family this June, with the final two installments coming later this year.
