Do you remember your first concert? Mine was NKOTB waaay back in 1991. I remember the thrilling feeling of being in the same building as Donnie Wahlberg, watching them strut on stage and being totally engrossed for the next 90 minutes. My daughter and her friends got to experience the rush for the first time with Family Channel’s Big Ticket Summer Concert in 2015 when the tour kicked off in Abbottsford,BC. The girls were treated to almost 3 hours of singing and dancing as they watched talented young performers give their all! They kept the audience of screamin’ tweens on the edge of their seats. “I’m going to be deaf and have no voice tomorrow!” my 10 year old daughter announced. And she was right!
Family’s Big Ticket Concert is BACK in 2016 and to celebrate the concert’s 5th anniversary, five incredible performers are ready to light up the summer with breakout star Daya headlining the show in addition to Family Network’s popular performers such as Canadian sensation Shane Harte, and emerging artists Mckenzie Small, Josh Bogert and Aviva.
And one of the most popular features of a Big Ticket Summer concert special appearances by fan-favourite cast members from Backstage and The Next Step busting out their dynamic dance moves!
Tickets go on sale Friday May 6th and for a limited time fans can take advantage of the special anniversary pricing at $20 each for selected seats.
